Abstract

The role of a skin beautician is very important to determine the type of facial skin and can provide treatment solutions according to the type of facial skin. At the beginning of the study, starting with data collection on 20 female respondents, it was found that 100% of respondents did not understand the type of facial skin and 85% needed an expert to know the type of skin, 90% needed an application such as an expert system. The algorithm used in this system is Naïve Bayes used to classify facial skin types. The result of this research is the system can provide information about the type of facial skin. The results of testing the level of accuracy obtained are 90% of this expert system can function properly in accordance with expert diagnoses.
